Job Dimensions
Job
Dimensions provides functions to end-users to define new Job
Definitions. Existing, approved, Job Definitions can have
‘opening positions’ associated with it using the Job
Definitions Job Openings functions. This is the first step to
the Recruitment process. The Job Dimensions form allows
Job Definitions to be grouped by department, which along with
other lookup features assists the user in locating Job
Definitions. After completing data entry on a new Job
Definition a hardcopy of the Job Description can be printed,
to be filed, or used to seek approval from the appropriate
personnel.

Job Interview Profiler
The
Job Interview Profiler is your full service candidate
selection solution. It is a fully integrated tool that merges
data between three key databases. The recruitment database for
retrieval and merging of key candidate screening data, the job
description database, and, with the push of a button, all
pertinent data is merged into the employee database once a
candidate is hired. The Job Interview Profiler also provides a
means to spell out the factual basis for not hiring, and
ensures that all documentation is clearly processed and saved
in order to avoid possible misinterpretation.. Since your
hiring must be based on the actual requirements of the job,
Job Interview Profiler ensures that your selection procedures
are in compliance with the law. The ability of an applicant to
perform a job is the major factor in supporting a hiring
decision. Are you hiring without reference to a person's race,
sex, religion, national origin, disability, or age? Can you
prove it? This fully integrated solution ensures that records
are kept showing why applicants were rejected for employment.

Behavioral Dimensions
MANAGING
BEHAVIOR IN THE WORKPLACE. Behavior is response to the
environment. Observable
behavior is response to the environment that someone
witnesses, or observes.
When
employees are promoted to management, they are responsible for
managing all of the resources at their disposal. The
most difficult resource to manage is the individuals who
report to the manager. Yet people are usually the single
biggest investment of capital that a company makes. This
difficulty is directly linked to a series of issues: 1,
employees are independent agents whose behavior is strongly
influenced by how they are valued and treated, 2, employees
are concerned with maximizing their gain, therefore their
objectives may conflict with a manager’s goals, 3,
understanding oneself as well as others is very complex, and
4, manager’s do not have a lot of time to focus on learning
to understand behavior. The People to Projects behavior
assessment tool provides a framework for helping managers
learn to recognize and understand behavioral patterns in the
workplace. This is not a test with right and wrong
answers. It is a tool for getting to know employees in
their terms.
