 The
central element of the P2P program is accountability. How
does a manager hold her/his subordinates accountable for
their output, while a direct boss is holding her/him
accountable? By successfully solving this long-standing
challenge to management, the ultimate goal is
achieved, employees holding themselves accountable for fulfilling
their responsibilities in a timely, cost effective manner.
The result that accrues from individual accountability is
ongoing profits and economic health. Accountability begins
with establishing clear expectations for performance,
followed by monitoring to determine when timely
interventions need to be made to adjust to changing
conditions. Since the ultimate productive unit is the
employee, it is necessary to constantly provide her/him
